This class focused on the basic principles and practices of management,
as they pertain to parks, recreation, and tourism agencies. Class content
included topics beyond the classic systems of planning, organizing, leading,
and controlling. Specifically, this class focused on the roles of PRT managers
in relation to human resource issues, motivation, leadership, and legal
considerations. We thoroughly explored contemporary management issues that
are likely to be encountered early in your PRT career.
