Course Description:
Fundamentals of growth and development from preconception to old age and death are explored. The domains of physical, cognitive, and social-emotional growth for each age in the life cycle are explored in a variety of contexts.

Observation Assignments:

During the units we were were given the opportunity to observe and apply what we've learned in class to every day situations. The observations included looking at human milestone age groups such as; Kindergardners/preschoolers, middle school/teenagers, young adulthood, and adulthood/Elderly.  For each group we explored their physical, cognitive, and psychosocial development patterns.

Each of the four papers illustrate the growth, change, and progression of an individual and demonstrate theorist ideas and vocabulary concepts. As a student, I was able to make connections easily through my observations and therefor apply dynamically to my community surrounds, family, and on an individual level.  It required thinking critical and outside of the box. My performance on these assignments demonstrate the growth of my understanding throughout the course. Witch each new unit I was able to relate previous knowledge to the current curriculum and for that reason I achieved the most from this course through these observations.
