As therapists the overall goal is focus on each individual’s need incorporating their use of self-empowerment. It becomes a relevant and meaningful therapy to the client, family and community. It proves that play is an important and sustaining motivation and practice. Through remembering the past, constantly pressing forward in the present and looking towards the future, Recreational Therapy will strive to utilize Recreation and play for the benefit of achieving an improved quality of live.
